Today I would love to share with you a beautiful girls dress pattern by Simple Life Pattern Company.
Spring is finally here and I’m loving it. The cherry blossoms have just begun to bloom, which are my favorite. Probably because one of my favorite colors are pink and they bloom just in time for my birthday. And just in time for some beautiful spring dresses.
I have really enjoyed making clothes for my kids. I have found some great pattern companies and can’t wait to make all the patterns I’ve found that are so ADORABLE! And I will share with you all the amazing patterns that I’m finding. I have made some girls summer pajamas and boys pajamas that you might enjoy also.

Today I wanted to share with you the girls dress pattern, Abigail Pocket Peplum and Dress pattern, from Simple Life Pattern Company. This pattern comes in size 2T-12 which I love, so I can make it over and over again while my daughter grows. This pattern comes with a lot of options so you can customize it to your liking. It can be a peplum which is like a shirt with a ruffled round at the bottom. You can also make a dress, which is what I chose. It has four sleeve lengths: sleeveless, short sleeves, 3/4 sleeves, and long sleeves. You can also add pockets to this dress which I think is a great addition. Every dress should have pockets in my opinion. I love this girls dress pattern so much, I wish they had a women’s size.
This pattern is great for advanced beginners. It’s not difficult to put together at all and it’s a quick sew once you have everything cut out. You will want a knit fabric to make this dress. I purchased my knit fabric at Joann’s. It’s a seafoam coral floral spring knit print that is made out of polyester and spandex. It is so soft to the touch. I had some leftover that I want to use on a shirt for myself.
Simple Life Pattern Company has adorable clothing patterns. These ladies are extremely talented and you will definitely benefit from checking them out. I’m going to make one of their bathing suits this weekend, in fact, for this little munchkin of mine.
